The overall incidence of adverse reactions reported with telmisartan (41.4%) was usually comparable to placebo (43.9%) in placebo controlled trials. The adverse reactions listed above have been accumulated from all clinical trials in patients treated with telmisartan for hypertension or in patients 50 years or older at high risk of cardiovascular events.
