Akynzeo contains a 5-HT3 receptor antagonist, palonosetron that may increase QT interval prolongation. Therefore, caution should be exercised in concomitant use with medicinal products that increase the QT interval, including but not limited to: levofloxacine, amytriptyline, alfuzosin, azythromicin, arsenic trioxide (see section 4.4). Furthermore, caution is advised in case of fosnetupitant/palonosetron concomitantly with medicinal products known to induce hypokalaemia, such as ampicillin, albuterol, terbutaline, furosemide, thiazides, or medicinal products known to induce bradycardia, such as beta blockers, verapamil, diltiazem, digitalis, and antiarrhythmics. .
