COVID-19 pneumonia was observed more frequently in intravenous ocrelizumab treated patients compared to patients who received placebo. COVID-19 pneumonia was observed in 3.2% of intravenous ocrelizumab treated patients and 1.8% of patients who received placebo. COVID-19 pneumonia was predominantly observed as a serious infection, which occurred in 2.6% of intravenous ocrelizumab treated patients and 1.6% of patients who received placebo. Fatalities due to COVID-19 pneumonia were uncommon, occurring in 0.8% of intravenous ocrelizumab treated patients and 0.2% of patients who received placebo, and were associated with known risk factors in both arms.
