Elevations in serum creatinine Increases in serum creatinine, predominantly mild to moderate (CTCAE Grade 1 or 2), were observed in 17% of patients within the first few weeks of treatment with rucaparib; 0.6% of patients reported a CTCAE Grade 3 reaction. Elevations in creatinine with rucaparib treatment may be due to inhibition of the renal transporters MATE1 and MATE2-K (see section 4.5). These increases in serum creatinine were clinically asymptomatic.
