11 Medicinal product by Effects on drug levels Recommendation concerning therapeutic areas Mean percent change in AUC, co-administration with (dose) Cmax, Cmin with confidence efavirenz intervals if availablea (mechanism) Velpatasvir/sofosbuvir/voxilap ↓velpatasvir Concomitant administration of revir ↓voxilaprevir velpatasvir/sofosbuvir/ voxilaprevir with efavirenz is not recommended, as it may decrease concentrations of velpatasvir and voxilaprevir. Refer to the prescribing information for velpatasvir/sofosbuvir/ voxilaprevir for more information. Protease inhibitor : ↓elbasvir Concomitant administration of Elbasvir/grazoprevir ↓grazoprevir efavirenz with elbasvir/grazoprevir is ↔efavirenz contraindicated because it may lead to loss of virologic response to elbasvir/grazoprevir. This loss is due to significant decreases in elbasvir and grazoprevir plasma concentrations caused by CYP3A4 induction. Refer to the prescribing information for elbasvir/grazoprevir for more information. Glecaprevir/pibrentasvir ↓glecaprevir Concomitant administration of ↓ pibrentasvir glecaprevir/pibrentasvir with efavirenz may significantly decrease plasma concentrations of glecaprevir and pibrentasvir, leading to reduced therapeutic effect. Coadministration of glecaprevir/pibrentasvir with efavirenz is not recommended. Refer to the prescribing information for glecaprevir/pibrentasvir for more information.
